Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist

(32-40 hours a week)

As we scale up our commercial activities, we are seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to play a leading role in navigating regulatory pathways and enabling market access for this groundbreaking innovation.

Your Role

As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be a key enabler of Solynta’s global expansion. You will lead and coordinate regulatory processes, ensuring our products are introduced to international markets. Your ability to build relationships, foster trust, and engage with stakeholders will be critical to opening new markets and driving our mission forward.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with industry organizations, government agencies, and regulatory authorities to establish pathways for TPS acceptance and commercialization.
  • Engage in lobbying and advocacy efforts to overcome regulatory challenges and support market entry.
  • Advise internal teams and external partners on regulatory requirements.
  • Guide strategic market access initiatives and advice on impact for seed production and distribution.
  • Build and maintain a robust international network within the seed industry and regulatory landscape.
  • Represent Solynta in relevant regulatory forums and working groups.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and proactively address potential market barriers.

 

Requirements:

We are looking for a confident and strategic professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for building lasting relationships. You excel at navigating complexity and can balance technical knowledge with stakeholder engagement. Your ability to build trust and respect with both internal teams and external partners will set you apart.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Several years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in agriculture, plant science, or the seed industry.
  • Proven ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, credibility, and lasting professional relationships.
  • A well-established network within the seed industry and regulatory community is a plus.
  • Knowledge of plant variety registration, plant breeders' rights, seed certification processes, and import-export regulations such as phytosanitary requirements.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Legal or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
  • Fluency in English; basic knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
